Mahie Gill is an Indian actress who has worked in both Punjabi and Hindi cinema. She has done Masters in Theatre from Chandigarh. She made her acting debut with the hit Punjabi film, Hawayein and went on to do many other Punjabi projects before venturing into Bollywood.
Before getting a major role, Mahie Gill also appeared in the Bollywood flick, Khoya Khoya Chand. She got her big break when Anurag Kashyap selected her for his film Dev D, inspired by the classic novel Devdas. She played the immortal role of Paro in Dev D. After this, Mahie again starred in another Anurag Kashyap film, Gulaal.
Utt Pataang is a 2011 Bollywood comedy thriller written and directed by Srikanth V. Velagaleti.
