Shruti Haasan is a young and talented actress, singer and also a music composer. Her parents are the noted actors, Kamal Haasan and Sarika. Shruti received her training in music at an early age from the Musicians Institute of California. Shruti Haasan sang her first song at the tender age of six in her father's famous film, Thevar Magan. Her singing debut in Bollywood came with Chachi 420. After pursuing a career in singing, Shruti Haasan branched out in acting with her cinematic debut – a cameo in the Tamil and Hindi bilingual film, Hey Ram. Besides acting, Shruti Haasan has also composed music for the Tamil film, Unnaipol Oruvan.
