Born: July 1973
Himesh Reshammiya is a Bollywood music composer, singer as well as an actor. He has composed some amazing tracks and has performed at international venues where no Indian has ever performed. These include the Wembley stadium, London and the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre.
At a very young age, Himesh started his career by producing various shows for Zee TV. Thanks to Salman Khan, Himesh got a break in Bollywood by composing a song for the super hit movie, Pyaar Kiya to Darna kya. This was just the start Himesh needed. From here, he went on to compose the phenomenally successful Tere Naam, which remained the best seller for over a year. But it was probably Humraaz which marked a turning point in his career.
Though an introvert by nature, he has slowly started disclosing more about his personal life after his debut as an actor in Aap Ka Suroor. He has appeared on TV as a judge and mentor in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and 2009. He was also a guest on Kofee with Karan where he disclosed much about himself. He got a Best Male Playback Award for Aashiq Banaya Apne.
