Anees Bazmee is a famous Bollywood film writer and director. He joined Bollywood from the grass root levels. He joined as a dialogue writer for Hum Farishte Nahin (1988). He then wrote Swarg which was directed by David Dhawan and had Rajesh Khanna and Govinda as lead actors. By 1995 he had written ten movies many of which went on to become super hits. He made his directorial debut with Hulchul for which he took Ajay Devgan and Kajol. Though the movie went unnoticed, nothing could deter Anees and a few years later he again casted Devgan and Kajol for Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha. The movie did very well at the box office and gave a turning point to Anees Bazmee's career. After a break of five years, he came out with Deewangee. Soon after he came out with No Entry, which went on to be the biggest grosser of the year. His Welcome grossed over Rs. 760 Million. Recently, he again casted the successful pair in his latest film Singh is Kinng that too performed well at box office.
