Sonali Bendre was pursuing her career as a model when she was selected for the Stardust Talent Search. After receiving training from the best of actors, Sonali made her debut in the film, Aag, pairing along side Govinda and was even awarded with Newcomer of the Year Award. She has acted in several films and has starred opposite top stars such as Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. She won the Star Screen Award Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai and Star Screen Award for Best Actress in the Marathi film, Anaahat.
