Chamatkar is a Hindi ghost comedy movie which was directed by Rajiv Mehra and released in India in 1992.Its a story of Sunder Srivastava (Shahrukh Khan) a young graduate whose main ambition is to starting a school in his village.To meet his friend who offered him a job he reaches to Mumbai but thief robs him of all his luggage and money.Sunder starts cursing his stars & venting his anger.Sunder realizes that he has been talking with a ghost & panics. The ghost suddenly becomes visible to Sunder & introduces himself as Amar Kumar alias Marco(Naseeruddin Shah). Marco tells Sunder that only he can help Sunder. Marco tells his story. Sunder helped him to sortout his problem & fall in love of Mala(Urmila Matondkar).
